Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain honored 3 of its employees in the "Fursan Baytik” Employee Recognition Programme for their outstanding contributions to the Bank during the first quarter of 2016. The employees were selected based on a choice of criteria that relate to performance and achievements both in the workplace and during their time outside the office. At an Award Ceremony held at the KFH-Bahrain headquarters, Mr. Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat, the Managing Director and CEO together with Executive and Senior Managers at KFH-Bahrain presented the three employees with Awards and Certificates of Appreciation. The Awarded employees for the first quarter of 2016 were Mrs. Fatima Niroza Mohamed who received the ‘Smart Performance’ Award, Mr. Mohammed Fuad Al Kaabi who received the ‘Teamwork’ Award and Mr. Hamza Hussain Jaffar who received the ‘Customers Service’ Award. During the Award Ceremony, Mr. Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat commented "We at Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain are proud of the outstanding performance of all our staff. The Awarded employees have made significant and outstanding contributions and the Bank is keen to recognize these excellent efforts and achievements of its team members." He also added “We are always happy to see the employees’ persistence to achieve an outstanding performance level throughout the year and in various work areas. This definitely reflects their belief in the importance of hard work, commitment and dedication, and has led them to set a positive example in the workplace and be considered as Role Models among their peers.” Also commenting on this occasion, Mr. Yousif Al Hammadi, Executive Manager and Head of the HR Department at KFH-Bahrain, stated “We at Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain, consider our employees a part of a large close family and an important pillar of the organization’s success.” Mr. Al Hammadi further pointed out that, “Since the beginning of the Year, we have recognized certain employees that met our criteria. We are delighted for honoring these outstanding employees in the Bank as part of an ongoing process in acknowledgment of the efforts of our staff towards providing better services to our customers." The Fursan Baytik Employee Recognition Programme aims to honor and appreciate the achievements of employees in the Bank based on a set of criteria that considers their performance both during work and in their own time out of the office in order to motivate them and develop their potential. Candidates for the Awards are recognized for various areas of high performance including having a positive attitude towards work and colleagues, providing an outstanding level of service to customers, leadership, innovation, teamwork and active participation in team achievement. Employees are nominated every quarter from the various departments within the Bank and a Selection Committee chooses employees who fall within the pre-defined criteria. The Committee also considers employee's achievements outside work such as pursuing and attaining professional certificates or academic degrees in order to motivate them for self-development.
