Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain) contributed towards the sponsorship of an educational field trip to Malaysia for students from the Department of Mass Communication Tourism and Fine Arts at the University of Bahrain. The initiative aptly reflects KFH-Bahrain's continued commitment towards supporting the community it serves.Mr. Abdul Razak Jawahery, Executive Manager at KFH-Bahrain, commented, "KFH-Bahrain's commitment towards further developing our community is paramount for the future. Enhancing education and training is vital to transforming the lives of our next generation leaders and to that end, we admire and respect the work that the Bahrain University is undergoing to help foster essential leadership skills in Bahrain. The one week visit to Malaysia, aimed at developing the participants' personal abilities, challenge their skills and expose them to the different cultural way of life within Malaysia." As part of the field trip, students were engaged in individual debate which inspired their project work. During the programme, the students met with representatives from all aspects of the community ranging from business, religious, sports, political and cultural. They also met with like minded youth groups and local councilors, and addressed real world problems including moral and ethical dilemmas being experienced by the people they met and related issues with the media. Mr. Jawahery presented a cheque to Mr. Yousif Hassan Arafa, the University of Bahrain student sponsored by KFH-Bahrain, at a ceremony held at the KFH-Bahrain head quarters. Mr. Arafa expressed his deep thanks and appreciation for KFH-Bahrain.
