Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain announced its support towards the funding of Al Maali Medical Complex of the Bahrain Society for Children with Behavioral & Communication Difficulties. This project by the grace of Allah, will contribute towards the construction of a medical complex with the aim of ensuring a steady income for the Alia center for early intervention. Also, services provided in the medical complex will cover the medical needs of children at the Center. Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa, Society Chairman commented on this occasion "This project has great importance to the Bahraini families, because Alia Early Intervention Center tries to meet the individual needs of children who suffer from behavioral and communication difficulties. The aim of the Society is to promote lifelong access and opportunities for all children and their families, to be fully participating included members of their community. Education, advocacy at all levels, active public awareness and the promotion of research form the cornerstones of the Society’s efforts to carry forth its mission. We decided to build a medical complex because continuation of the work at Alia center requires significant operational expenses". "We thank the Bank for its contribution that will go towards supporting the operation of Alia Center and will help us to provide better services for children." Sheikh Abdullah added. Mr. Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat, the Managing Director and CEO of KFH-Bahrain commented "The Society serves a large segment of Bahraini families by helping their children to integrate into the community and to promote continued access to opportunities.
