Kuwait Finance House–Bahrain has honored distinguished employees, under the Bank’s ‘Fursan Baytik’ Employee Appreciation programme, for their outstanding performance during the last quarter of 2017.
Mr. Abdulhakeem AlKhayyat, the Managing Director and CEO of KFH-Bahrain, presented the appreciation awards and certificates of recognition to Naser Abdulrahman Mohamed Al Awadhi, Retail Banking Group, for outstanding ‘Teamwork’, while both Zahra A.Rasool Taher Radhi, Financial Control, and Waleed Mohammed Abdulla Al Tameem, Collections, won high appreciation for their ‘Smart Performance’. The awards were presented during a ceremony held at the Bank’s headquarters at the Bahrain World Trade Center in the presence of several officials and executive management.
On this occasion, Mr. Abdulhakeem AlKhayyat commented: “We would like to highly commend these employees for their outstanding performance and teamwork towards the Bank. As with our other achievers of the ‘Fursan Baytik’ programme, these staff are an example of dedication and hard work.” Mr. AlKhayyat also acknowledged the success of the Fursan Baytik programme which aims to promote an ideal environment for employees and motivates them to strive for excellence in work while supporting the Bank’s vision and mission.”
The ‘Fursan Baytik’ Employees Appreciation Programme was developed to honor and appreciate the achievements of employees in the Bank based on preset criteria that considers their performance and activities during working hours. The programme was established in order to motivate and develop staff potential and well-being. Employees are nominated every quarter from all departments within the Bank and a special committee selects employees who fall within the pre-defined criteria. Candidates who are selected for the award would need to be recognized for having a positive attitude towards work and colleagues, providing an outstanding level of service to a customer, leadership, innovation, teamwork and active participation in team achievement. The committee also considers the employees’ achievements outside work such as pursuing and attaining professional certifications or academic degrees, how they promote and represent the Bank, and their social contribution to society.
