Two employees at Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain (KFHB) have been awarded Certificates for successfully completing the International Trade Finance (CITF) from the Institute of Financial Services UK after attending the preparatory Course at BIBF. Mr. Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat, the Managing Director and CEO of KFH-Bahrain congratulated the two employees Mr. Hamad Al Sherooqi & Mrs. Amal Mohamed Abdulla who are colleagues within the Bank’s Trade Finance and Settlement Division for completing the preparatory Course. It is noted that these employees were the only candidates who belong to an Islamic Bank among other participants on the course. "Both employees have achieved high marks in the CITF test and this certificate will enable them to learn the basics of international trade finance. Furthermore, these two employees are working to improve their knowledge even further by enrolling in the Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialist programme (CDCS). The Certificate for International Trade Finance (CITF) is an international qualification that has been designed to enable trade, export and commodity executives to gain a thorough understanding of key procedures, practices and legislation in trade finance on an international level. CITF is supported by the British Bankers Association (BBA) and has been developed in consultation with trade finance experts from across the world.
