Manama, Bahrain, 27 November 2007: In a ceremony organized by the Bahrain Medical Society and held under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Faisal Ben Yaqoub Al Hammer, Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain honoured 61 members of the Society who attained high specialised degrees in 2006 and 2007. The Arabic Board, FRCS, MRCP, PHD and MSc are some of the degrees included within this scheme. In his speech during the ceremony Mr. Khalid Rafie, Senior Manager at KFH - Bahrain said "This initiative is within the framework of the Bank's strategy to support and encourage young Bahraini competencies in various fields throughout the Kingdom. KFH - Bahrain is dedicated towards excelling Bahraini youth and motivating them to achieve more. " "Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain aims to support the Bahraini Society for its continued trust in the Bank, either through its projects which contribute significantly to the economical development of Bahrain, or by sponsoring various social, charitable, educational and sporting activities." he added. Mr. Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat, General Manager of Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain, commended the supportive role played by medical societies and doctors in protecting Bahrain's achievements as well as boosting them to attain further progress. He affirmed the Bank's support for the society and wished the doctors who attained high specialised degrees all the success. Dr. Abdulla Al Ajmi President of Bahrain Medical Society expressed his thanks and gratitude to Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain for their continued support for the Society which will reflect positively on the society's activities and plans. Reaffirming the Society's commitment to further develop the quality of medical services in Bahrain.
