As part of the Bank’s commitment to maintain transparent and open communication channels among all staff, Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain) has recently launched the “Town Hall” Meetings Program which entails a series of continuous periodical meetings between the MD & CEO and employees. The series of meetings is part of a comprehensive Human Resources department program which aims to enhance staff engagement and involvement in decision-making, enrich employee awareness of the Bank’s future direction, maintain direct and open lines of communication between staff and the MD & CEO, and streamline the exchange of information between the various departments of the Bank. As part of this series, the Human Resources Department has organized two meetings in July and August 2016. During the two meetings, a number of staff from selected Departments spent the day with MD & CEO, Mr. Abdulhakeem AlKhayyat, at KFH- Bahrain Club located in Budaiya. The events commenced with a Staff Lunch with the MD & CEO, followed by staff presentations of departmental achievements, short-term and long-term plans. The MD & CEO has discussed with the attendees various important highlights and the future direction of the Bank. Upon conclusion, the employees have been given the opportunity to exchange their ideas, recommendations and development initiatives in a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. In this context, the MD & CEO pointed out “We at KFH-Bahrain, consider our employees a key driver to the organization’s success, and we are very keen on the improvement of our Human Capital base. “ Mr. AlKhayyat added, “Such continuous meetings aim to make a friendly dialogue between all Bank’s employees to come out with ideas and proposals that will develop our work to provide the best services and practice to our customers.” Mr. AlKhayyat further commented, “KFH- Bahrain achieved very good results recently and we aim over the next half of the year to provide the best of our products and services to serve our customers in various sectors. Our staff members in the Bank have a prominent role in achieving outstanding success”. Moreover, Mr. AlKhayyat commented on the important role of the current “Fursan Baytik” & “Innovation” initiatives, which have been founded to encourage employee motivation for achieving outstanding performance levels and to maintain excellent service levels to customers. ”Fursan Baytik” is a Quarterly Program that rewards 3 employees based on their performance. In addition, the recently launched “Innovations” program, aims to encourage productive competition among KFH Group staff to present new and innovative ideas to improve the Group performance. Mr. Yousif Al Hammadi, Executive Manager and Head of the HR Department at KFH-Bahrain, also pointed “The management are devoted to promoting a high level of employee engagement and involvement, and to maintain a robust environment to all KFH staff members in line with our vision to ensure maximum employee and organizational success.” During the meetings, participants discussed a number of different topics and suggested ideas for the development of various aspects of the bank to get the most out of new opportunities and further enhancement of the customer experience.
